So many lovely moments this past week, lots of reasons to smile :-)
Here are my best bits:
1. Snuggled up on the sofa after a quiet family day at home. What better way to while away a Sunday afternoon than enjoying a roast lunch, then chilling out on the sofa with a Disney DVD where tired little ones fall asleep in our arms. Of course after the children's bedtime, the wine and chocolate comes out… as does the hook!
2. Fresh lovely daffodils promise me that Spring is on its way. I love the contrast between the yellow bloom and my blue watering can. I love this can, we bought it on a narrowboat holiday my in-laws took us on when the twins were just babies.
3. Drinks and a catch up with my twin-mummy friends. When one these lovely ladies moved away last year, I was very upset. We Skype when we can, but of course it's never the same as catching up in person. So I was thrilled when she came back to visit this week. Naturally, we headed straight to our local for a few drinks, a lot of laughing, and hatched a plan for a mini-break to Edinburgh this summer to visit her. I can't wait. I'm so lucky to have found such incredible friends, it makes me sad to think that if any of us not had twins, our paths may never have crossed.
4. I'm loving Granny Chic so much, there's so many beautiful and simple projects in there that I just want to dive into at any spare minute. It stays in my red work-in-progress case, which houses all the crochet/knitting/sewing bits that I keep to hand for whatever project I'm working on. Still ploughing on with a blanket for my son and a large striped family blanket.

Thanks for sharing Karen. It looks like you've had a lovely week xxx
